Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Who is responsible

This Privacy Policy applies to Forja, a platform operated by Horizontes IA ("we"), through forjabots.com, app.forjabots.com, and the Forja Inbox mobile app. For anything related to your personal data, contact us at contacto@innovandohorizontes.com.

2. What personal data we collect

  • Identification and contact: your name and email when you create an account.
  • Community and onboarding: your community email, business type or niche, WhatsApp number (optional), and the answers you give when activating Forja+ (goal, timeline, etc.).
  • Billing: handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store card numbers; only customer and subscription identifiers.
  • Technical and usage: IP address, device and browser type, language, pages visited, and cookies.

3. Data processed by your bot

When you install a chatbot with Forja, that bot runs on your own infrastructure and processes your end customers’ messages. Regarding that data, you are the controller and Horizontes IA acts solely as a processor. You are the one who must inform your customers and obtain their consent as required by law.

4. Mobile app — Forja Inbox

Forja Inbox is the iOS app that lets a business owner (or their team) handle their Forja bot's conversations from their phone. The following applies only to the app; the rest of this policy still governs forjabots.com and app.forjabots.com.

What the app collects:

  • Account: your name and email — only if you have a Forja account (owners) or joined with an invite code (employees).
  • Device identifier: a UUID the app generates itself the first time it opens (not Apple's IDFA or IDFV), used to identify your device within your account — not for advertising.
  • Push notifications: your APNs (Apple Push Notification service) token, to alert you about new messages, handoffs (when the bot hands a conversation to you), and reports.
  • What you send from the app: photos, voice notes, and files you send in a conversation. They go directly to your own business's server, streamed — Forja does not store them.
  • "Report a problem": the screenshot and description you provide. Kept to follow up on the report and anonymized if you delete your account.
  • Diagnostics: the app version, so we know what build you're on if you need support.

Your end customers' messages: shown in the app by passing through Forja's control plane as a proxy, without being stored there. They live on your own business's Cloudflare infrastructure, same as the rest of Forja (see section 3).

AI features in the app (suggest reply, lessons, report, test chat): call the AI provider you configured on your bot, using your own key — not one of Forja's.

Device permissions: camera and microphone are requested only when you choose to take a photo or record a voice note inside a conversation. The app does not request access to your full photo library (you use iOS's native picker to choose a single photo), your location, or your contacts. It includes no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps.

Deleting your account: from Settings → Profile & team → Delete my account. This removes your account from the app, your device stops receiving notifications, and your reports are anonymized.

Roles: the business owner (Forja account) controls who has access; employees join with a single-use invite code and see the conversations and tools the owner enables for them.

5. How we use your data

Primary purposes (required for the service): create and manage your account, activate and run Forja+, issue your license, process payments, provide support, and send you transactional messages (confirmations, reminders, and service notices).

Secondary purposes (require your consent and you may opt out): send you educational content, updates, and promotions, and run analytics to improve the product.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it with providers that help us run the service (processors):

  • Cloudflare — infrastructure, hosting, and database.
  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • MailerSend — email delivery.
  • Skool — community platform.
  • Anthropic (Claude) and MiniMax — AI models that process text to generate replies.

We may also disclose data when required by a competent authority or by law.

7. International transfers

Some of our providers are located outside Mexico (for example, in the United States). By using Forja you accept the data transfers strictly necessary to provide the service, with the protections required by applicable law.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to: keep you signed in, remember your language preference, and measure site usage. You can disable them in your browser, though some features may stop working properly.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, cancel, or object to the processing of your personal data, as well as to withdraw your consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to contacto@innovandohorizontes.com describing your request; we will respond within the timeframes set by law.

10. How long we keep it

We keep your data while you have an active account and for any additional period required by applicable legal and tax obligations. After that we delete or anonymize it.

11. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is completely infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Minors

Forja is not directed to minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page along with its update date. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the changes.

14. Contact
